Education and indoctrination

This research project is part of the broader ELDAR project and includes a data collection on education policies worldwide. One of the objectives is to shed light on the effects of different education systems on citizens' beliefs, in particular, government support. Currently, we are collecting data on education systems worldwide going back as early as 1789. Moreover, we collaborate with the DEMED project at University of Glasgow, in which Anja Neundorf and her team is collecting complementary data.

In more recent work together with Carl Henrik Knutsen and Svend-Erik Skaaning, we explore differences on the suppression of higher education across authoritarian regimes. Feel free to drop me an e-mail if you are interested in reading our working paper.
